THE HISTORY
Why We Started BC Land Surveying
William and Thomas Billeter didn't set out to build a surveying company from scratch. They built it because they wanted to control and integrate surveying into their own engineering and development work on a daily basis. Years of managing complex projects in Sonoma County taught them how much project timelines, expedited work, and scope changes depend on having a surveyor who moves at the same pace as the rest of the team. That kind of integration is hard to find when surveying happens outside of the office where design takes place.
So they brought in Mikey Mueller and Adam Rivera, both licensed Professional Land Surveyors, and built a firm designed around the things they valued most in a land surveying: precision, responsiveness, and genuine problem-solving capability. BC Land Surveying operates out of Santa Rosa and serves Most of Northern California. The team brings 80+ years of combined experience to every project, backed by the kind of professional accountability that comes with licensed PLS staff.
